About the artwork
Groups of young shags often work in unison to round up potential food and take turns to eat. While storms raged outside, and pneumonia attacked me inside, I made the 3 stencils for this print by splattering opaque medium with a toothbrush. Later these positives were transferred onto 3 screens, treated with light sensitive emulsion and screenprinted over the blended background.
The composition for this screenprint is based on an oil painting made in 2007.
